UNIDEN LAUNCHES NEW LINE OF MARINE RADIOS TO SAIL PAST COMPETITION
Uniden America Corporation, a global leader in radio communications technology, today unveiled two new additions to its popular marine radio line – the fixed mount Polaris and the world’s smallest Marine handheld, the Voyager. The company also announced the introduction of its WHAM unit, a wireless handheld microphone that provides wireless capability for the Polaris.
Designed with even large boats in mind, the combination of the long anticipated debut of the Polaris and the new WHAM marks the first time that two users can have full-function, wireless control of their radios from different parts of the craft. Marine Product Manager Kent Newman stressed the functionality of the WHAM, which controls every radio function.
With our new Polaris, large boat users can now have a WHAM on the bridge and a second WHAM on their belt or in their stateroom, Newman said. We know boaters are going to love having wireless full-function, two-handset capability.
