TRAVEL AMERICA WITH CAT’S MEOW STATE MAP PIECES
Collect maps of the states you have visited is the idea behind the
new state map collection from Cat’s Meow Village. Fun and festive use of coloring and
details are integral to each state map piece Cat’s Meow creator Faline Jones
introduced. Each piece accurately highlights that state’s points of interest, well-known
cities, plus the state bird, flower, tree and flag. Flags for each state were also designed
to go with each map. All 50 states and the District of Columbia are represented.
Maps
are approximately 5inch x 5-1/2inch and retail for around $15 each. Flags are approximately
1-1/4inch x 4-1/2inch and retail for around $5 each. Introduced individually between
September 2000 and April 2002 with no retirement date scheduled.
The Cat’s Meow Village has been building memories with its miniature, wooden,
handcrafted buildings and accessories for 20 years. Many pieces commemorate
historic structures and points of interest.
Casper, the trademark black cat, signifies
the authenticity of Village products and can be found on each piece, along with the
signature of Faline Fry Jones, creator of The Cat’s Meow Village.
Village enthusiasts find gratification in purchasing pieces that not only add to the
warmth of their décor, but also preserve a favorite destination or time. With more than
30,000 designs created, there is a Cat’s Meow piece that touches everyone’s life.
