High-Sensitivity Positioning Systems for Mobile Handsets

Location technology developers MSLocation and Global Locate have decided to form a partnership aiming to develop new high- sensitivity handset-based location solutions. These solutions will be able to pinpoint a handset within 5 to 30 meters indoors and out and enable location-based services that require a high level of sensitivity, such as personal navigation, m-commerce and emergency services, to name a few.

By combining their existing technologies, the two companies will be able to bring to the market location solutions that have low power and processing capacity requirements while offering high-level sensitivity in almost any condition.
