Autodesk Adds Support for Trimble’s Mapping and GIS Products

Autodesk, through DLT Solutions, Inc., its master government sales and marketing partner, today announced it has added support for Trimble’s GPS Pathfinder Systems. Trimble is a leading innovator of GPS (global positioning system) technology.

In addition, DLT Solutions announced a business partner agreement with Trimble. DLT Solutions will resell and distribute Trimble’s Mapping and geographic information system product line to Autodesk’s customer base, with a specific focus on Federal Government agencies beyond those currently addressed by Trimble. The partnership coincides with the release of Autodesk’s Envision 8 GPS Extension which provides organizations with access to highly accurate GPS data when combined with Trimble GPS Pathfinder Systems for asset management, in-field analysis and decision making.

Trimble’s products will provide Autodesk customers with hardware specially designed for rugged field work.

Autodesk Envision software seamlessly integrates, visualizes, analyzes and presents all formats of design data—including spatial, mapping and civil engineering formats—in one application.
