Savvy Industry Veteran will draw upon years of technology marketing experience to develop and extend LANDesk Software global positioning
LANDesk Software, the leader in integrated desktop, server and
mobile device management software, today announced that it has appointed Nolan Rosen as vice
president of worldwide marketing. Rosen will use his considerable software brand and marketing
experience in leading the strategic direction and execution of LANDesk’s company-wide marketing,
product and communications strategy.
In his role at LANDesk Software, Rosen will be responsible for global marketing initiatives, including
brand management, product and solutions marketing, marketing communications, market research,
analyst relations and field-based demand generation programs. He will report to LANDesk Software
President and Chief Executive Officer Joe Wang.
LANDesk has an impressive track record of delivering results-focused systems, desktop and
mobile management solutions that bring measurable benefits to our partners and clients, Rosen
said. I look forward to identifying new ways to help our clients maximize their current IT
investments while at the same time readying them for the eventual economic upswing with the right
mix of innovative solutions.
Rosen brings more than 15 years of technology marketing experience that has helped drive sales at
leading corporations such as Vignette Corporation, Sterling Commerce, Novell, Inc., WordPerfect
Corporation, Barclays Bank and Total Elf Petroleum. Most recently, Nolan served as vice president
of worldwide marketing at Vignette where he led brand, demand generation, events and public and
analyst relations activities. Rosen is a graduate from Witwatersrand University in South Africa.
We need to accelerate our momentum as an independent company, and marketing and branding
are key to that objective, said Joe Wang.
Nolan’s blend of experience and expertise in
infrastructure and applications helps us deliver our vision of the future: helping organizations
deliver smarter methods of managing desktops, servers and mobile devices to optimize their
business performance.
