Motorola Licenses Cholesteric Technology from Kent Displays
Kent Displays announces that it has licensed its Cholesteric No Power LCD technology to communications leader, Motorola. This technology, explains Gene A. Miceli, President and COO of Kent Displays, increases battery life, as well as improves optical performance in flat panel displays, both key issues for portable equipment manufacturers such as Motorola. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Software-enhanced wireless telephone, two-way radio, messaging and satellite communications products and systems, as well as networking and Internet-access products, for consumers, network operators, and commercial, government and industrial customers.
